AKSU Admission Requirements For UTME

Below are the requirements for candidates that wish to gain admission into AKSU through UTME:

1. You must have at least an O’level Credit pass in 5 different subjects (Including English language and mathematics). In this case, the O’level result could be WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB or any equivalent.
2. You must choose the correct JAMB subject combination.
3. Candidates must score at least 200 in the just concluded JAMB UTME examination to be offered admission into the Akwa Ibom State University.
4. AKSU Must be your First Choice of Institution.
5. You Must Participate in AKSU POST UTME/SCREENING to be considered for admission.
6. You Must be 16 years Old before Applying for Admission to the Akwa Ibom State University.
7. Your Result should not be more than two sittings.

AKSU Requirements For Direct Entry (DE)

Below are the requirements for candidates that wish to gain admission into AKSU through Direct Entry:

1. Direct entry candidates must also possess an O’level Credit grade in 5 different subjects (Including English language and mathematics).
2. Candidates must have ‘A’ level/IJMB passes in two subjects that are related to their area of study.
3. Direct entry candidates are required to purchase the AKSU Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) And AKSU Portal.
4. Your Result should not be more than two sittings.
